Pedal yourself or your company to victory by taking part in an organised cycling challenge from the comfort of your own office or gym! If you don’t have time to go on a long sponsored "virtual" cycle, why not share the challenge with your colleagues or friends? Cycle it in stages each lunchtime or when you visit the gym.
Do you work at a company? A challenge is being set down to organise yourselves into a group to cycle to Paris from London; the difference being you don't have to leave your home or place of work. We will provide a static bicycle for a fixed period and as many who wish to take part can form the team, taking it in turns to do as many miles as possible, hopefully completing the 277 miles required to arrive in Paris.
Don’t forget, if you are taking part as a company team, matched funding is a great idea! Why not ask your company if they would like to match the amount you raise or donate an amount to help your fundraising efforts?
Matched funding helps your company achieve their Corporate Social Responsibility targets as well as reduce the amount of corporate tax they pay.
If you need us to get in touch with your employer to make this work, please email us directly at email@example.com and we would be delighted to assist. We would also want to make sure that the donation your company makes relates to your fundraising too!
There is obviously no limit to how much you can raise!
Watch this space to see which local health clubs are also taking part!
And for those of you who would prefer to take the "scenic" route, you can cycle the actual route on the road. This exciting fundraiser is open to those of you wishing to take up the challenge for real!
We are delighted to announce that Land Rover has donated two bicycles which means two people will be presented with a bike each. For every pound raised a ticket will be issued and the two lucky people’s names will be drawn out of the hat at the end of the challenge.
So “get on yer bike”, grab your helmet and remember: Ride like you’re mad as a hatter!
